Privacy Policy

Independent Apps (the “Developer”) provides PageGlide (the “App”) as a private reader that keeps your PDFs and reading data on your device. The App requires no account and uses no advertising, tracking, or analytics.

The App processes and stores the following data inside its app-managed area on your iPad:

• An app-managed copy of each PDF you import
• Reading position, last-opened time, and reading progress
• Layout, reading direction, rotation, margin crop, and appearance settings
• Bookmarks, including page numbers and optional titles
• Margin analysis results
• Cover images you choose for your library

This data is processed and stored only on your device. It is not sent to the Developer’s servers.

The App uses Apple’s system file picker to import PDFs. It can access only the PDF that you explicitly select.

The App uses Apple’s system photo picker when you choose a custom cover. It can access only the image that you explicitly select—not your full photo library. The selected image is orientation-corrected, reduced to a library-friendly size, and stored as an on-device copy.

The App does not collect or transmit personal information, usage data, device identifiers, location, advertising identifiers, crash information, PDF content, reading history, settings, bookmarks, or cover images. It uses no external APIs, app-owned servers, third-party analytics SDKs, advertising SDKs, or tracking technologies.

The App never modifies, overwrites, or deletes the original PDF you selected. Auto Crop Margins, rotation, and black-and-white inversion affect only how a page is displayed.

When you delete a book from the library, the App removes its managed PDF copy, cover, reading position, settings, bookmarks, and related data from the App’s storage area. The original PDF remains unchanged. If you delete the App, iPadOS removes its app-managed data.

This website does not include developer-operated analytics or advertising trackers. It is hosted by Vercel, which may process standard connection information—such as IP address, request time, requested URL, and browser or device information—to deliver and secure the site. Website processing is separate from data processing inside PageGlide. The App does not send PDFs, reading history, settings, bookmarks, or cover images to this website or to Vercel.
