Include your hairline, forehead, eyebrows and both eyes. If detection is difficult, move back to include your nose and mouth. If both eyes cannot be detected, you can still save a baseline for manual overlay alignment after reviewing the explanation.

No. You can capture at any score. OK appears when the overall position, angle, distance and brightness match reaches 85%. Individual scores do not all need to reach 85%, and no hold time is required. Unavailable measurements show a dash.

Enable App Lock during onboarding or in Settings. It uses Face ID, Touch ID or your device passcode. Your iPhone needs a passcode. App Lock is off by default.

Open a photo from Photos in the bottom navigation and tap the save icon at the top right. Read the explanation and choose Save to Photos. The first export asks for add-only permission; Hairline does not read your library. Exported copies are outside App Lock and follow your Photos settings, including iCloud Photos.

Allow Hairline to add photos in iPhone Settings and check available storage. Your in-app photo remains even if export fails. Exporting the same photo again creates another copy.

Choose two or four photos in Compare. Use Choose photos to change the selection. Hide the controls for a larger view. Zoom and drag adjustments apply to all displayed photos.

In-app photos and records are excluded from backups. Hairline has no sync, restore or import feature. Records cannot be recovered after deleting the app or losing your device. Export photos you want to keep to Photos; exports do not restore your timeline or match scores.

The planned price in Japan is ¥500 as a one-time purchase. All features, including App Lock, comparison and export, are included. No subscription. Japanese, English, Korean, Traditional and Simplified Chinese, and Canadian French are supported. Local prices vary by App Store region.
